My name is Megan MacLeod, and I’ve been practicing the art of photography for over 10 years, but I've been a professional photographer since 2021.
I grew up in Big Pond, Nova Scotia, spent a few years living in Ontario and Alberta, but eventually found my way back home to raise a family.
I am now a proud resident of Albert Bridge, Nova Scotia, where I reside with my husband, daughter, our dog and two cats.
I'll be "out on the Mira" for as long as she will have me!
I'm a big believer in the "lifelong learner" philosophy. I love being creative, taking on new projects, developing my skills, and meeting new people.
I prioritize professional development to ensure that I'm capturing the best moments and images I can. I pay close attention to the results of each and every shoot/event to make sure that I learn something new for the next time!
I am committed to honing my skills, and always striving to take my abilities to the next level.
I genuinely love every aspect of being a photographer - the people, the views, the challenges, the experiences, the memories, and of course, the finished products! It's more than just a job to me - I want you to get the best service, experience and results.
As a photographer, there’s nothing more rewarding than getting THE shots - the ones that you know your client is absolutely going to swoon for! I am honored to have the opportunity to preserve beautiful memories for my clients, and I always strive to “capture the essence” of the moment so that my clients can focus on being present, and enjoying each moment to the fullest!
